Plakton combines this construction with soft linings, flexible soles and Memory Cushion technology to create a softer underfoot feel without unnecessary weight. Upper: Nobuck (nubuck leather)

Nobuck is a finely buffed top-grain leather, giving it a soft, velvety surface with a more uniform appearance than traditional suede. Because it is made from the outer layer of the hide, it retains greater strength while still offering a gentle, tactile feel. The surface has a subtle nap that shifts slightly with movement, adding depth to the finish. It provides a refined balance between durability and softness, making it suitable for everyday wear.
