At the centre of every Plakton sandal is a natural cork footbed designed to provide lightweight support, flexibility and everyday comfort. Cork naturally helps absorb impact while gradually adapting to the shape of the foot over time, creating a more personalised fit with continued wear.

Plakton combines this construction with soft linings, flexible soles and Memory Cushion technology to create a softer underfoot feel without unnecessary weight. Upper: Serraje Top (recycled suede)

Serraje Top has a rich, brushed suede appearance with a more rugged texture and depth than traditional smooth suede. Made using recycled leather fibers, the surface has a naturally matte finish and a dense, tactile feel that gives each pair a more casual, worn-in character. The heavier nap creates softness without looking overly refined, making it ideal for relaxed everyday styles with a more natural, earthy finish.

Footbed: Cork (memory cushion)

The cork footbed combines natural support with all-day comfort. Built around a lightweight, flexible cork base that gradually adapts to the shape of your foot, it’s finished with our soft memory cushion layer for a more cushioned feel underfoot. Naturally breathable and designed for everyday wear, the combination delivers a balance of structure, comfort, and long-lasting support.
