Beta Platform gives the classic two-strap sandal a more substantial silhouette with a 3cm platform base. Two metal-buckle straps allow you to adjust the fit, and the slip-on design keeps the shape relaxed and easy to wear. A natural cork footbed and Memory Cushion insole add a cushioned feel underfoot. Made in Spain with Plakton's signature sole grip, this women's platform sandal adds a little height to wide-leg trousers, cropped denim and summer dresses.

What is it made from?

Pony hair is a leather-backed material with a printed and textured hair-like surface that replicates natural patterns. The fibres create a directional texture, giving the material a distinctive look and feel. Beneath the surface, the leather backing maintains structure and durability, ensuring it holds its shape over time. This combination makes it a strong visual material, often used to add contrast and interest to a design.

The cork footbed combines natural support with all-day comfort. Built around a lightweight, flexible cork base that gradually adapts to the shape of your foot, it’s finished with our soft memory cushion layer for a more cushioned feel underfoot. Naturally breathable and designed for everyday wear, the combination delivers a balance of structure, comfort, and long-lasting support.

Developed exclusively for Plakton, this hardwearing rubber sole features a custom tread pattern designed to improve everyday grip and stability underfoot. The textured surface helps provide reliable traction across a range of surfaces while maintaining flexibility and long-lasting durability. Built for comfort as well as practicality, the sole is designed to support daily wear with a secure, grounded feel.
