About The Beta Apure Womens Sandal

Beta is a women's flat sandal with a clean two-strap silhouette that fits easily into a summer wardrobe. Each strap has a metal buckle, so you can adjust the fit across the foot, while the open slip-on shape makes it easy to wear day to day. A natural cork footbed and Memory Cushion insole add cushioning beneath the foot. Made in Spain with Plakton's signature sole grip, Beta works just as well with relaxed trousers and shorts as it does with an everyday summer dress.

What is it made from?

Apure is a smooth leather finished with oils and waxes to enrich its depth of colour and create a subtle sheen. This treatment enhances the natural grain, allowing the leather to develop character over time as it responds to wear. The surface remains supple and resilient, offering a balance of softness and structure. It’s a practical choice for regular use, as the finish helps resist minor scuffs while ageing into a more individual patina.

The cork footbed combines natural support with all-day comfort. Built around a lightweight, flexible cork base that gradually adapts to the shape of your foot, it’s finished with our soft memory cushion layer for a more cushioned feel underfoot. Naturally breathable and designed for everyday wear, the combination delivers a balance of structure, comfort, and long-lasting support.

Developed exclusively for Plakton, this hardwearing rubber sole features a custom tread pattern designed to improve everyday grip and stability underfoot. The textured surface helps provide reliable traction across a range of surfaces while maintaining flexibility and long-lasting durability. Built for comfort as well as practicality, the sole is designed to support daily wear with a secure, grounded feel.
