Borneo gives the familiar flip-flop shape a cushioned cork-footbed foundation. A Memory Cushion insole adds cushioning beneath the foot, while the natural cork footbed forms the base of the sandal. Made in Spain with Plakton's signature sole grip, Borneo is a straightforward men's summer style for casual days and warm-weather dressing.

What is it made from?

Afelpado is a sanded suede leather with a velvety, brushed surface that gives it a warm, tactile feel. The fine nap enhances softness while allowing the material to remain breathable and flexible on foot. This type of leather naturally absorbs and releases moisture, helping maintain comfort throughout the day. Its matte finish gives a relaxed, casual look that pairs well with everyday wear, while still offering durability when properly cared for.

The cork footbed combines natural support with all-day comfort. Built around a lightweight, flexible cork base that gradually adapts to the shape of your foot, it’s finished with our soft memory cushion layer for a more cushioned feel underfoot. Naturally breathable and designed for everyday wear, the combination delivers a balance of structure, comfort, and long-lasting support.

Developed exclusively for Plakton, this hardwearing rubber sole features a custom tread pattern designed to improve everyday grip and stability underfoot.
