INSPIRED BY NATURE

Handmade Comfort Since 1995

Since 1995, Plakton has combined traditional Spanish craftsmanship with a focus on natural comfort and everyday design. Every pair is handmade in Spain using carefully selected materials and production techniques that prioritise quality, durability and wearability.

Working with natural cork, soft suedes, leathers and flexible constructions, Plakton creates footwear designed to feel effortless from the first wear while maintaining the relaxed Mediterranean character at the heart of the brand.

Rather than following fast-moving trends, the focus remains on timeless silhouettes, comfort-led design and responsibly chosen materials that are made to be worn season after season.

THE CORK FOOTBED

Natural comfort, crafted to adapt.

At the centre of every Plakton sandal is a natural cork footbed designed to provide lightweight support, flexibility and everyday comfort. Cork naturally helps absorb impact while gradually adapting to the shape of the foot over time, creating a more personalised fit with continued wear.

Plakton combines this construction with soft linings, flexible soles and Memory Cushion technology to create a softer underfoot feel without unnecessary weight. Carefully selected suedes, leathers and natural-look materials help maintain breathability and comfort while giving each style its distinctive relaxed finish.

The result is footwear designed to balance natural comfort, durability and effortless everyday wear.
